Audrey is the Lead Pharmacist for Prescribing in NHSGGC overseeing the significant growth and development in pharmacy teams supporting primary care improvement. She has 25 years’ experience in primary care where she moved after starting her career in community pharmacy. She has an MSc in Prescribing Science from the University of Liverpool.

Audrey has previously held positions as chair of the NHSGGC Area Pharmaceutical Committee, and recently completed 2 terms as chair of the Area Clinical Forum. This brought additional responsibilities as non-executive director of NHSGGC and voting member of the West Dunbartonshire Integrated Joint Board for the Health and Social Care Partnership. Audrey previously held a position as chair of the Communications Subcommittee of the NHSGGC Area Drugs and Therapeutic Committee where she oversaw a move from paper based prescribing bulletins to electronic methods and developed a social media presence.

Audrey has always had an interest in developing pharmacy roles and led the development and delivery of the Pharmacy First Inverclyde project commissioned by Scottish Government. She was also the Pharmacy Manager for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Pharmacy and has previously held positions with NHS Education for Scotland as a pharmacy tutor.
