Pharmacy Practice Research Award – call for submissions
Applications for this Award are now closed.
Nominations or applications are invited for the prestigious conference Practice Research Award, sponsored by the Pharmacy Practice Research Trust. The winner will receive a £1000 cheque and deliver a lecture at the conference.
They will also be invited to our Awards dinner on the Sunday 9 September where they will be given further recognition. For more details on judging criteria and the application process, please see our instructions.
The 2011 award went to Derek Stewart, Professor of Pharmacy Practice, School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences at Robert Gordon University for his work on the pharmacist prescriber.
“I was honoured that my work was recognised in this way. Winning this award also gave me the opportunity to describe my body of research into the pharmacist prescriber, which had been a key focus over the last five years, to my peers and the wider pharmacy community”.
Professor Derek Stewart, 2011 PPRT award winner.
We also asked our conference chair, Margaret Watson, why you should apply:
“This is the most prestigious pharmacy practice award in the UK and is awarded to individuals who have led and demonstrated substantial contributions to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the development and delivery of the profession and pharmacy services. I would encourage all eligible colleagues nationally and internationally who are involved in pharmacy practice research, to consider applying for this award.”
