Dissolution testing course - Wednesday 18 - Friday 20 June, RPS, London

We are pleased to announce the return of our residential course, Dissolution testing for the pharmaceutical industry, which will be held from Wednesday 18 – Friday 20 June 2014 at The Royal Pharmaceutical Society, London.

This course is for:

  • Graduates or professionals working in the field of formulation development or dissolution method development;
  • Contract management personnel with responsibilities for dissolution test development or testing;
  • Anyone requiring an intensive introduction to dissolution testing and the associated procedures.

The purpose of the course is to provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to solve day-to-day problems in formulation evaluation & quality testing using dissolution testing.

You will hear from expert lecturers in a multifaceted programme which offers a unique opportunity to discuss real challenges faced in day-to-day work.

Our programme includes Paul Dickinson, from AstraZeneca, who will provide a review of Dissolution testing of oral dosage forms and its physiological relevance. Evangelos Kotzagiorgis who is an employee of the European Medicines Agency, will focus on the regulatory perspective while Terry Way, consultant for Pharmaceutical Analysis and Compendial Affairs will discuss types of dissolution equipment testing and qualification. The last two days will include a workshop session which will explore the method and development of oral dosage forms, and Biowaivers and SUPAC.
