QP Assessors needed

We have vacancies for two Assessors for our Qualified Persons Eligibility Panel of Assessors.

About the role

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) (the “Joint Professional Bodies (JPB)”) are required by the Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) to certify individuals as eligible for nomination as a Qualified Person (QP).

The Assessor role includes review of written applications and interviewing applicants (“viva voce” interview). The interview panel for each assessment normally involves an Assessor from each of the three professional bodies.

RPS Assessors also collaborate with the RPS to raise awareness on the issues relating to the QP role and in providing support for QPs.For further details, download the RPS QP Eligibility Panel of Assessors – Role and Specification.
