The Society recognises the importance of lifelong learning and we stand by our commitment to supporting our members throughout their pharmacy career.

This dedicated section helps members keep informed of innovations and changes in the profession, by providing them with the resources they need to develop their skills and expertise. This section also provides support for members to plan, undertake and record CPD.

Developing your career

We offer a wide range of careers support to our members, from those who are just starting out to those who are looking to develop their practice further.

If you're thinking about furthering your career, take a look at our professional recognition programme, the RPS Faculty, to find out how you can stand out from your peers.

Our mentoring service allows RPS members to benefit from the support and guidance of their more experienced colleagues to help them advance in their career.

Continuing professional development

Continuing professional development (CPD) is a statuory requirement of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), but we're here to help make it as easy as possible.

You can find resources and tools to help you learn more about what you need to do, as well as find out how to record your CPD, and what to do when the GPhC calls your record.

Our CPD resources provide you with examples of others' CPD entries, self assessment checklists, helpful tips, and pointers on how to find opportunities for learning and development.

You'll also find support and guidance if you need assistance filling in your CPD record. Our FAQs provide a comprehensive overview of what you can expect with CPD.

Some of our Development resources are a member-only benefit. If you are a Royal Pharmaceutical Society member, login to access CPD resources and other tools.
