The work of your professional body in this area will be prioritised by an internal IM&T strategy group with membership from all three countries and informed and guided by an expert IM&T advisory group for each country. The RPS have developed strategic IM&T principles and each country has developed a work plan to support these principles and deliver against them.

We are working with the Department of Healths, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, member organisations of Pharmacy Voice, Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists and other pharmacy IT stakeholders including pharmacy system suppliers and experts to coordinate IT strategy across the pharmacy profession and industry. We have established a Pharmacy IM&T Strategy Group to work together to develop work streams and discuss strategic and professional IM&T issues. 

Terms of reference for the Pharmacy IM&T Strategy Group are available to download, and minutes of the strategy group's meetings will be published as they become available. A press release about the inaugural meeting of the new pharmacy IM&T group is also available.
