The Welsh Pharmacy Board works hard to make sure that members' needs and interests are properly represented. We are currently focussing on a number of campaigns to help raise awareness of pharmacists' interests, including the following:

Working with the Welsh Government - We have put together an overview of the key commitments to pharmacy services from the Welsh Government, following the May 2011 Welsh elections.

Medicines Safety - The Welsh Board held a medicines safety symposium in October last year as a result of their commitment to make Britain a safer place to take medicines.

The report was published in March 2011 - members can exclusively view it in full, as well as an overview of the entire day. 

Welsh Pharmacy Board Manifesto - the Welsh Board launched their manifesto 'A Prescription for Better Health' in October last year in order to influence political decision making in the run up to the Welsh Assembly Government elections to be held in May.

Cross Party Group for Pharmacy - the Welsh Pharmacy Board facilitated the establishment of a Welsh Cross Party Group for Pharmacy in 2010.  The group has held four meetings which discuss pharmacy issues within Wales with Assembly Members and organistaions with common interests.
