Research Ready Guidance

The Research Ready - Community Pharmacy Toolkit document aims to build knowledge about what is required and what is recommended to take part in existing research studies such as those on the National Institute for Health Research’s portfolio.

We have set out a series of statements to highlight what your community pharmacy team needs to consider - and what you will need to have in place - before you take part in research. The document signposts you to sources of information that will help you comply with specific requirements and develop good practice in relation to your participation in research.

The document is aimed at the individual within the community pharmacy who will take on the role of Research Lead within the Research Ready Community Pharmacy. As Research Lead, you must be a registered pharmacist or registered pharmacy technician and be willing to take professional responsibility for completing the assessment.
