Role of pharmacy in supporting people with LTCs

Report

On 26 April 2017, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and National Voices held a joint event, attended by members of National Voices and people with experience of living with long-term conditions. The event explored the current role of pharmacy in delivering person-centered care to people with long-term conditions, and how this might evolve.

This report sets out the themes that emerged from the event. It looks at how people currently use community pharmacy, their perceptions of the service, and how it can be developed to better support people with long-term conditions, in a person-centred way. It builds on the report of a similar joint event, held in 2015.
