Advocacy Group

Our scope

The Advocacy Group is for members who are willing to represent the RPS at events talking about the issues that we are engaged in as well as the support available to people from their professional body. It is the successor of the Pioneers Group that was set up prior to the launch of the new RPS to help explain the changes the organisation was about to go through.

Aims and objectives

As an organisation that represents all pharmacy sectors and career stages advocates need to attend events and give talks to a wide variety of audiences including students, pre-reg, pharmacists and overseas pharmacists across all sectors, nationwide. The Advocacy Group members will be supported with regular updates on what is happening at the RPS and any service developments, as well as receiving presentation packs and literature that can be used when attending events.
