The Assembly, in the spirit of openness and transparency, is reviewing representation on external groups and committees. Appointments will be made through our new Appointments Committee.
We’ll be reviewing our feedback mechanisms so that all representatives on external bodies will have the opportunity to meet with the appropriate staff member where necessary.
The deadline for receiving nominations to represent the Society on the Advisory Group for the UK Public Health Register , European Industrial Pharmacists Group, Gateways to the Professions Collaborative Forum, Mablethorpe Fellowship Panel, National Patient Safety Forum, NHS Choices User Council, NICE Medicine Information Reference Group, Membership Committee and the Panel of Fellows has now closed.
Nominations are still being accepted for the National Heart Forum in order to give members adequate time to consider this group as it was added to the agenda for the Appointments Committee to consider at a later stage than the above mentioned groups.
