The Assembly will normally meet three times a year. During the initial period it has been necessary for the Shadow Assembly to meet more often in order to ensure that all governance arrangements are in place as soon as possible after the launch of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society as the professional leadership body.

The Assembly meeting dates for 2012 are as follows:

• 20 March – Working Day (To be held in England)
• 21 March (To be held in England)
• 24 July – Induction Day (To be held in Wales)
• 25 July (To be held in Wales)
• 31 October (To be held in Scotland)
