19/02/2014 - RPS speaks out about e-cigarette advertising on TV


For the first time in more than two decades, adverts for big tobacco companies have recently started to appear on UK television again.

Our Director for Scotland, Alex MacKinnon, spoke to the BBC about the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s concerns for patient safety, discussing how electronic cigarette advertising potentially could undermine the last few decades of public health efforts. Listen to his interview below.
