Talking to government
Public Affairs is a way of influencing public debate and political decisions. We engage in public affairs activity to ensure that Government policy reflects the priorities, concerns and aspirations of pharmacists.
We make the case for pharmacy across a range of political campaigns, communicating policies based on members’ views to ensure that the voice of pharmacy is heard at the highest levels.
Because health policy is devolved, we campaign across the three countries of Great Britain and maintain public affairs teams in England, Scotland and Wales. We also seek to inform policymaking in the institutions of the European Union.
