About Lubna
Lubna Kerr has been a pharmacist for over 25 years, she works for the NHS, and her area of interest is diabetes.
In 2010, she started on her creative journey as an actress, stand-up comedian, and more recently, as a playwright.
You may have seen her in Still Game at the Glasgow Hydro in 2014, in the feature films Moon Dogs and Christmas in the Highlands, as well as a number of documentaries.
In 2021, she wrote her first play, Tickbox, a one woman play about migration, love and stress.
Tickbox is a semi-autobiographical, one-woman play in Scots-English and Urdu about race, perception and identity. It interweaves the journeys of two Scottish Pakistani women united by blood, passion and determination.
Look for it in theatres in 2022.
