Professional experience and particular interests:
With over 20 years academic experience, she developed the first CP diploma at King’s College London. She contributed to the redesign of the Nottingham integrated MPharm 2012. She is an experienced external examiner, has published over 100 peer reviewed papers and is a qualitative health services researcher. Her research focuses on public health, CP services, patients’ experiences of medicines and pharmacy education. She has also had previous hospital, community and primary care experience and has been a CPPE tutor.
She has represented the profession across various organisations including: member of the FIP (the International Pharmaceutical Federation) Board of Pharmacy Practice and Council for a number of years, Academic section president, Chair of Education transition committee, NIHR panel chair, CPP governor and member of University committees and senate.
She has strong European and international pharmacy networks (PGEU, Europharm forum) through her role in FIP and Social Pharmacy research.
