Academic qualifications: MPharm, King’s College London, Graduate Diploma in Law, LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management

Professional experience and particular interests: Thorrun is a community pharmacist with a strong media presence. Having studied at King’s College London, she completed her Pre-Registration training at Manor Pharmacy in Newark-on-Trent.

Thorrun has experience in a range of media organisations including the BBC, both in radio and television. She has utilised local and national media to promote pharmacy, including stints as the resident pharmacist at BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Radio London and appearances on BBC Newsnight and the Victoria Derbyshire Show. Thorrun has also interned in Parliament.

Thorrun uses social media to advocate for the profession and is a prolific tweeter - @pharmthorrun. In 2018 she was nominated by her MP for the NHS70 Parliamentary Awards - Healthier Communities Award for her advocacy.
