Accessing the journals

We’ve created a list of open-access online journals for our members, either on open access generally, or available to RPS members via the Library’s subscription to our two databases: Medline Complete and the Biomedical Reference Collection.

And the list also includes three journals free to members via the Pharmaceutical Journal and managed by the PJ.

All journals listed are peer reviewed, and the majority are indexed in our databases.

Due to individual publisher restrictions, there is a delay for current content for journals accessed via Medline Complete and the Biomedical Reference Collection. The delay for each title is shown under that title.

If you’re having trouble finding a subject area, use CTRL+F to search the page.

To access

Click on the link under individual journal titles.

For journals available via Medline Complete and the Biomedical Reference Collection, click on the link to open the screen below. 

Click on Title List under the appropriate database. 

Type the journal title into the search box and click on Browse, then click on the journal title link.

You should now see all issues of that journal listed by year (outlined in red below).
