Interview with Ash Soni on medicine shortages

RPS President Ash Soni was interviewed on Radio 4’s You and Yours programme this morning about medicine shortages.

Ash acknowledged that shortages have an impact on patients, but they are not new or unique to UK.  Medicine shortages happen for a variety of reasons including global demand, manufacturing issues and regulatory changes affecting production facilities.

Ash reassured the public that alternative products are available.
