​​​​​​​Advanced Pharmacist Assessment Panel – New Chair

We've appointed Ramandeep Kaur Sandhu as the Chair of the Advanced Pharmacist Assessment Panel (APAP).

The role of APAP is to oversee all RPS advanced and consultant pharmacist assessment and credentialing processes, reporting to the RPS Education Standards Committee.

Ramandeep is an independent prescribing pharmacist with a wealth of experience in senior healthcare roles across all sectors of pharmacy. She currently works as an advanced pharmacist in general practice as well as leading on the Certificate in Advanced Health Assessment at Aston University.

On her appointment, Ramandeep said “I am honored to have been appointed the chair of the Advanced Pharmacist Assessment Panel (APAP) for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. I am looking forward to working with the panel to progress the advanced pharmacy practice agenda, creating a platform to showcase and advocate for the profession. Throughout my career, I have accomplished many goals and achievements, and I am excited to begin this new role enabling me to further focus my efforts on advancing the profession that I’m so passionate about."

All APAP panel members were appointed through an open application process.
