“It was fantastic to welcome everyone to our event tonight and to celebrate the hard work, achievements, commitment to professional development and dedication to the future of pharmacy that everyone being celebrated has shown.

“In particular I’d like to mention the enormous contribution which Rose Marie has made to pharmacy across Scotland and beyond, and I’m delighted this has been recognised with the awarding of the prestigious Charter Award.”

“Every person recognised here tonight has done outstanding work on behalf of the pharmacy profession.

“RPS Scotland has just published Pharmacy 2030, our new professional vision for the future of pharmacy in Scotland.  Knowing how many inspirational pharmacists we have across Scotland leading the way, gives me so much encouragement and optimism that we can collectively implement the ideas in our vision; which will ultimately deliver enhanced patient outcomes, experience and safety.”
