Medicine prices - we talk to the BBC

UK/US trade deal controversy

Director of Pharmacy and Member Experience Robbie Turner was interviewed yesterday by the BBC about how medicine prices and supply could be affected by a future UK/US trade deal.

His appearance came in the wake of controversial claims from the Labour Party that leaked government documents showed the NHS would be part of a Conservative a post-Brexit trade deal with the US.

Robbie explained how medicines are priced in the UK, the part that generic medicines play in keeping costs down and why pharmacists are so important to that process.
