In 2018, the first tranche of registrants with a registration expiry date of 31 December 2018 will be asked to submit four CPD records when renewing their registration.

From September 2019, all GPHC registrants will be asked to submit six records when they renew - four CPD records, a record of a peer discussion record and a reflective account. By September 2020, all registrants should have submitted the full revalidation requirements.

Described as a “step change” by GPhC the switch to mandatory submission of CPD as well as “peer discussion” means the RPS will be stepping up its support.

The RPS will be on the road during 2018, running workshops locally to ensure everyone is ready for revalidation.

RPS members can already access helpful support from our pharmacist-led professional support service, which includes examples of the CPD that GPhC requires

The RPS professional development programmes, Faculty and Foundation, give members a head start with undertaking CPD, building a portfolio and peer review.
