Unused medicines and expiry dates

We talk to the BBC

RPS President Ash Soni and Director of Pharmacy and Member Experience Robbie Turner hit the airwaves today fronting BBC radio interviews to talk about patients who do not finish their course of medicines.

Both commented on a poll showing 1 in 3 people keep left over medicines and use them past their expiry date.  After giving practical advice on using and storing medicines, they advised listeners to talk to their pharmacist for advice.
