BBC Radio London looks at the future of pharmacists in General Practice

Today BBC Radio London has been discussing the reasons for and benefits of having pharmacists based in GP surgeries. It comes following an announcement from NHS England that £112m will be invested in new roles for pharmacists in general practice as part of a wider initiative to improve primary care for patients.

Ravi Sharma, a practice-based pharmacist, has been speaking BBC Radio London and telling them about what his role involves and when a patient could see a pharmacist instead of their GP.
