New community pharmacy reforms resource launched

In response to the Department of Health’s letter to PSNC announcing a reduction of at least 6% in funding through the community pharmacy contractual framework, we have developed a new community pharmacy reforms hub.

This page has been designed to help you understand the changes to community pharmacy in 2016/17 and beyond, and answer any questions you might have. You'll also find out more about the work we're doing, as well as what you can do and how we can help.

The new section explains what the community pharmacy reforms are, what we’re doing – including our role and position. We’ve also put together information about how you can get involved, make sure your skills and professional development are up-to-date, and work more closely with other sectors of healthcare.

Community pharmacist members in England will receive an email from the English Pharmacy Board chair, Sandra Gidley with further information about the community pharmacy reforms by the end of the week.
