New resources and masterclass for those preparing to work in GP practices

We believe that better integration between pharmacists and general practitioners will lead to improved quality of care for patients and relieve pressure on other healthcare professionals.

That’s why we’re putting together an ultimate guide to working in GP practices for our members. This brand new section of our website will contain information about:

  • The role
  • Practical guidance
  • Legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Managing medicines
  • Professional guidance and ethical issues
  • Clinical guidance and support tools
  • How the Faculty & Foundation can be used in GP practice
  • Accredited clinical training and support

This brand new resource will launch as soon as it’s ready, so that you’ll be well-prepared for a prospective new role as a clinical pharmacist working in a GP practice.

We’re also holding a Working in a GP Practice Masterclass on 13 November, in London.
This one day event will help you understand the role and the NHS England scheme, provide practical advice on CVs and interviews, explain what GPs are looking for in candidates, and learn more about the training available from CPPE. Find out more and book your place today »
