Conference season gives the RPS access to decision makers and influencers as well as an opportunity to shape public policy at early stages through participation in roundtables and fringe meetings.
This year we will be undertaking an extensive programme at the Westminster political party conferences, engaging with politicians, Royal Colleges, public policy think tanks and other stakeholders, delivering three public fringe events which will address how community pharmacy and other key stakeholders can meet the challenge of delivering an affordable health and care system. You are welcome to attend these public events. At the Liberal Democrats we are in Brighton, at Labour we are in Liverpool and at the Conservatives we are in Birmingham.
Thought leaders from the RPS, LGA and NHS Confederation will initiate debate and stimulate solutions, starting conversations at Conference that will be continued in Westminster.
The involvement of RPS at all three conferences means we are able to position pharmacy front and centre of healthcare, increasing our profile with the current Government as well as those who may be in power in future years.
