RPS in Scotland needs your views for its manifesto

The Scottish Pharmacy Board would like to hear about the issues you are facing and what you think needs to change to enable you to “be the best you can be” in our Survey.

Next year’s Scottish Parliament elections gives us a great opportunity to highlight to parliamentary candidates how pharmacists contribute to improving patient care and patient outcomes. It also gives us the opportunity to set out the “wish list” for our profession over the next few years. We are therefore currently drafting our manifesto and need your help in shaping it.

It is vital that we get as many responses to our survey as possible so that we are confident we are representing our members’ views and experiences and so that politicians and other stakeholders are clear as to what is needed to allow pharmacist to fully contribute to patient care.

The manifesto will set out our priorities for the next few years. It will be widely distributed to parliamentary candidates, stakeholders and the media in order to position pharmacists where we want to be within the NHS and to get recognition for our unique expertise in medicines.

Please take a few minutes to let us know your priorities by completing the survey. If you want to discuss in more detail please get in touch with the Scottish team by email or phone on 0131 556 4386.

The Survey is open until Sunday 6 December. Please note that we are looking for the views of registered pharmacists in Scotland.
