RPS in Scotland seeks views on Care Homes report refresh

This year, the RPS in Scotland is planning to refresh its care home report, Improving Pharmaceutical Care in Care Homes, published back in 2012. As a result of this, we are looking for feedback on what you think has changed since the launch of the report. This will help us get an idea of what you may be looking for from a new report or campaign.

You can submit your feedback by completing this survey which outlines the summary of key recommendations made in the 2012 report and seeks your views on what has been achieved since then, how it has been implemented and what more needs to be done. The survey will be available until 12pm on 7 August.

Additionally, if there is anything else you would like to add regarding the role of the pharmacy team within the care home setting, please send this to [email protected].

We are also looking for any examples of what has worked well and current experience within care homes.

RPS in Scotland will also be focusing on pharmaceutical care in care homes at a workshop at the Scottish National Seminar in Stirling on 1 October. If you would like to share good practice at the workshop, please use the email above to get in touch.
