Scottish Antimicrobial Prescribing Group seeks views on antimicrobial campaign

Back in September 2017, RPS in Scotland supported the launch of the “Keep Antibiotic Working” campaign in which all Scottish community pharmacies were involved.

The campaign ran between October and November 2017 and highlighted the importance of using antibiotics only when appropriate and encouraged the public to become antibiotic guardians.

Now that the campaign is officially over, the Scottish Medicines Consortium and the Scottish Antimicrobial Prescribing Group (SAPG) are seeking the views of all community pharmacists on its success. RPS in Scotland would like to encourage all community pharmacists based in Scotland to respond to SAPG’s short survey which shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to complete. The feedback gathered will inform future campaigns and materials.

The survey is now open and response is sought until 31 January.
