Ravi joined in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2018. Prior to this he held the position of National Clinical Lead for Clinical Pharmacy and Genomics at NHS England.
His work to date has been focussed on the development of integrated/collaborative and innovative roles for pharmacists and developing new roles of pre-registration, junior and senior pharmacist roles linked to health policy initiatives and workforce development strategies for the profession.
He is involved in several research projects around the impacts of clinical pharmacy across primary care and has published several research articles in reputable journals. He continues to work as a prescribing pharmacist in a GP practice on a weekly basis.
He graduated from The London School of Pharmacy in 2011 and received a scholarship to complete a Masters in Genomic Medicines at Imperial College London in 2018. He has been awarded fellowship by the Faculty of UK Clinical Informatics; and he has recently been appointed to the NHS Assembly, an advisory group supporting the implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan.
