Leon Zlotos

Digital Pharmacy Expert Advisory Group (DP EAG)

Leon is a pharmacist with experience in education, research, digital development, and community pharmacy practice. His expertise and research interests include e-learning, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Practice Based Small Group Learning (PBSGL) and Interprofessional Education.

Leon has extensive experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL); including e-learning modules, webinars, simulation, virtual patients and blended curriculum design.

For the past 7 years Leon has contributed to the digital development of applications to support pharmacy education at NHS Education for Scotland. This included responsibility as a Product Owner for the Turas Quality Management application. Through this, Leon has gained experience in the use of Agile methodologies and an appreciation of the importance of User Experience (Ux). He was appointed the chair of the NES TEL User Design group.
