Professional experience and particular interests:

Having been enrolled onto the pharmacists register in 1997, Paul has predominately been a locum community pharmacist but has held various roles in the primary healthcare sector including holding the position of superintendent pharmacist, and he has worked as a prescribing support pharmacist. Further, Paul has worked in and around academia since 2012 and currently helps to deliver the law and ethics element of the independent prescribing course at the University of Reading.

As a separate concern, Paul also advises and represents healthcare professionals at various stages of the fitness to practise process. Paul also actively supports the charity Pharmacist Support by volunteering his time as and when Pharmacist Support ask him to do so. He is a keen contributor to the network of chat groups operated by The Pharmacist Cooperative where he advises on a wide range of pharmacy, ethical and legal topics.

Finally, Paul is a member of the Medicines, Ethics and Practice Advisory Panel.
