Professional experience and particular interests:
Brendon registered in 2004 in New Zealand before migrating and registering in the UK. He is passionate about the provision of patient facing clinical services which he developed in his early career as a Boots pharmacist and manager across Sheffield and the Midlands. He then took on a superintendent pharmacist role in the Channel Islands before relocating to the South West of England.
In 2016, Brendon joined the NHS pilot of clinical pharmacists in general practice. He specialises in the management of patients with complex long term conditions and polypharmacy. He also developed a Home Medication Review service for post-discharge and housebound patients. This service was part of the team awarded regional champion for the NHS70 Excellence in Primary Care Award.
Since 2017, Brendon has been a NICE Medicines and Prescribing Associate and has contributed as a member of the South West Pharmacy Local Professional Network.
