Professional experience and particular interests:

Catherine qualified in 1999 and worked in community pharmacy for a few years before finding a niche role working both as a community pharmacy and primary care locum pharmacist. Over time her role evolved into a full-time primary care practice pharmacist post. Changes in the NHS locally saw Catherine join forces with three local GPs, heading up the pharmacy element of their not-for-profit company and successfully tendering for contacts to provide Medicines Optimisation services.

She is a qualified independent prescriber and regularly uses her qualification to manage the care of patients. Her specialism is long term conditions.
