Following completion of her pre-registration training year at the Western Infirmary in Glasgow, Jill relocated to London to undertake a Resident Pharmacist post at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT).   She then completed several clinical rotations within GSTT before taking up a senior clinical pharmacist post at University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust focusing on the specialty of HIV and Sexual Health.  Having fostered an enthusiasm for this specialty Jill was delighted to take up a similar position within Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and at this time completed the MSc. in Clinical Pharmacy Practice at UCL.  She was delighted to progress to the position of Lead Pharmacist for HIV and Sexual Health and was honoured to be part of a team which strove to develop and progress services for people living with HIV within London.  In 2015, Jill relocated back to Scotland and commenced the role of Principal Pharmacist Clinical Services at University Hospital Crosshouse, NHS Ayrshire & Arran and completed her independent prescribing qualification shortly after. Jill feels very privileged to work with such a fantastic team within Ayrshire and thoroughly enjoys her role.  She is currently undertaking the Scottish Pharmacy Clinical Leadership Fellowship as a secondment with a project focus on pharmacogenomics and is due to return to her substantive post with Ayrshire & Arran in September 2022.
