Josh Miller MRPharmS

Scottish Pharmacy Board

Josh is currently a specialist pharmacist working within medicine at the Royal Alexandra Hospital within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. He graduated in 2018 from the University of Strathclyde and completed his pre-registration year in 2019. Since qualifying Josh has completed his NES foundation training with distinction and is an annotated independent prescriber. He is currently in his final year of the advanced pharmacy MSc at Queens University Belfast. He has an interest in diabetes/endocrinology and recently has started a diabetes outpatient clinic which he is looking forward to developing.

He has a long history with the RPS being initially a student member and student champion. He has continued to have close ties with the society sitting on various working groups and up until board election was the only Scottish member on the Early Careers Pharmacist Advisory Group. He is looking forward to working with, and learning from, fellow board members to continue to highlight and support pharmacists and the incredible work that happens within Scotland.
