Rhian Lloyd-Evans

Welsh Pharmacy Board

Rhian is an experienced hospital pharmacist, having worked in a variety of clinical specialities and team leader roles over the last 15 years within NHS Wales and New Zealand. She has experience of mentoring and training, having been a teacher-practitioner at Cardiff University and a tutor for foundation pharmacists locally within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. 

Supporting the wellbeing and professional development of the current and future workforce is a passion of hers, to ensure patients can receive a safe and effective pharmacy service.

Rhian has a keen interest in service improvement and has led on a variety of multi-sector and multi-professional projects in her current role as Lead Pharmacist Medication Safety, including the development of a Medication Safety Strategy for the Health Board.

She is an active member of the All-Wales Medication Safety Network and contributes to the development of national resources and teaching material.
