Training

Develop core workplace skills and Advanced Practice

Our training programmes support those who have been practising for more than two years or have completed their Foundation training to advance as confident and capable practitioners.

We will provide with learning opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours described at Stage 1 of the Advanced Pharmacy Framework.

You will complete a Record of Expert Professional Practice at the end of the programme, which is a recognised assessment of Advanced Practice.

Be GPhC Revalidation ready

All of our training programmes are structured to help you plan, reflect and document the impact of your learning. By the end of the programme, you will have completed Planned/Unplanned learning, Peer Discussion and Reflective Account entries, and be Revalidation Ready!

Bite-sized training

Our training programmes take around three months or 100 days to complete. This provides you with manageable, bite-sized objectives such as developing practice in a defined area, or becoming familiar and confident in a new area of practice.

Each programme has one face-to-face training day, to meet and network with the expert leads and your colleagues on the programme. All remaining learning and assessment is delivered virtually.

Be supported all the way

Our team of expert tutors will support you throughout the training programme, in addition to all of the support offered to members of the RPS.
