Foundation Trainee Membership MacBook Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions applicable to the prize draw advertised in relation to RPS Foundation Trainee Membership Promotion Spring 2024 run from 23 January 2024 to 30 June 2024.

1. How to participate

1.1. In order to enter this promotion, you must go to https://www.rpharms.com/rpsmembership/win-a-mac and enter the information requested.

1.2. All entries must include your name, email address, and date of birth

1.3. Entries that do not comply with these promotion rules will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

1.4. In order to enter the prize draw you must:

i. be an RPS Foundation Trainee member on the 30th June in 2024; 

ii. sign up to pay their membership fees by annual or monthly direct debit; and

iii.  have entered the prize draw using the form (https://www.rpharms.com/rpsmembership/win-a-mac) outlined in 1.1. by the 30th June 2024.

1.5. You may only submit one entry to this promotion. Entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

2. Dates

2.1. Start date: This promotion will start at midday on 23 January 2024.

2.2. Closing date: The closing date for this promotion will be 23.59pm 30 June 2024. Entries received by the promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

3. Selection of the winner

3.1. There will be one winner of this promotion.

3.2. The winner of the prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

4. Prize

4.2. The value of the prize is £1149.00 as of the date of the start of the promotion

4.3. The promoter may substitute a cash alternative for the prize.

4.4. The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses.

5. Restrictions and requirements

5.1. Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply:

5.2. You must:

i. be RPS members living and working in Great Britain in the category of foundation trainee associate only.

ii. sign up to pay your membership fees by annual direct debit; and 

iii. have entered the prize draw using the form (https://www.rpharms.com/rpsmembership/win-a-mac) outlined in 1.1 by the 30 June 2024.

5.3. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.

6. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

6.1. The promoter will notify the winner by email on or before 31 July 2024.

6.2. The winner will receive their prize on or before 30 September 2024.

7. Publicity and personal information

7.1. The promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.

7.2. The surname and county of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to RPS Membership promotion, RPS Communications and Marketing Team 66 East Smithfield London E1W 1AW.

7.3. If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the promoter a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion.

7.4. You acknowledge that you may be asked to participate in publicity if you are selected as a winner.

8. General

8.1. This promotion is operated by The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, a company incorporated under England by Royal Charter (RC000799) and having its principal place of business at 66-68 East Smithfield, London, E1W 1AW.

8.2. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.

8.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
