We are currently seeking Panel members for the Chemotherapy and Pharmacy Advisory Service (CPAS).
The combined Committee/Panel has a membership of approximately 60 individuals who meet twice a year. Panel members are encouraged to attend these meetings where there is lively debate regarding CPAS issues. Places at these meetings are limited and members need to confirm their attendance to ensure their chance to contribute.
The main objective of the Panel is to review draft/near final protocols, by email correspondence, to support the investigators.
Each Panel member will be asked to review up to SIX protocols per year. Though unpaid, membership and reviewing of protocols provides a significant training and development opportunity.
We welcome applications from clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and senior pharmacy technicians who work within a chemotherapy environment. (Pharmacy aseptics experience would also be useful).
CPAS represents a source of general help and advice and is currently conducting its second 'Service Evaluation' questionnaire.
