Our speaker is Trudi Hilton, Chief Pharmacist, IHP. The meeting will be chaired by Catherine Morlet PharmD MRPharmS, Director CMPM Ltd
After 20 years in the NHS Trudi has had the opportunity to use the skills and knowledge gained to support the work of a charity, International Health Partners, which facilitates the donation of medicines from producers around Europe into developing countries. Her work has taken her to several countries and involved her in a range of interesting projects and challenges.
Trudi collaborates with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society via a network on their website, Humanitarian Aid and Response Network, to enable the sharing of information and experience of those who have worked in development with those who are interested in being involved. The presentation will cover some of Trudi's personal experiences and discuss opportunities for pharmacists who are interested in doing so, to get involved.
