CHM review the available safety data for use of epilepsy medicines during pregnancy

The Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) has reviewed the available safety data for epilepsy medicines use during pregnancy. The review confirmed that lamotrigine (Lamictal) and levetiracetam (Keppra) are the safer of the medicines reviewed during pregnancy.
