Celebrating the history of pharmacy in Scotland

RPS is planning a new museum display at its Scottish Office in Edinburgh, which will be re-opened when Covid restrictions allow.

The new display will be a celebration of the history of pharmacy in Scotland. The RPS Scotland team is very keen for members to be involved in guiding the creation of the display. This will include deciding which key developments in pharmacy in Scotland should be included and identifying which items of the RPS collection should be displayed.

Catherine Walker, RPS Museum Officer, said: “Working collaboratively with members will enable us to really showcase our rich collection and engage the public and members with Scottish pharmacy heritage.“

Clare Morrison, RPS Director for Scotland, said: “We are really looking forward to re-opening our Edinburgh office. We hope that by involving RPS members in creating our new museum display, it will capture what pharmacists want to see and will encourage more members to visit our building in future.”
