Lead needed for Early Careers Advisory Group

Are you a pharmacist with between 5-10 years’ experience? 

We have an exciting voluntary opportunity to be the Chair of our newly created Early Careers Pharmacist Advisory Group. The group provides strong representation for early career pharmacists, ensuring they are recognised as key stakeholders in the pharmacy sector across England, Scotland and Wales.

This is a new role and the tenure will be three years. The role will involve a maximum of three meetings in one year based on the needs of the group and the organisation. Reasonable expenses in line with the RPS expenses policy will be reimbursed.

You will:

• Lead and facilitate group contributions in line with the terms of reference, code of conduct and RPS values

• Post items and facilitate discussion on the Advisory Group members forum and collate collective responses

• Plan Advisory Group meetings with relevant RPS staff

 • Support members to complete development plans and identify/take up suitable learning opportunities
