Elections have taken place for positions on the three national Pharmacy Boards today.
The newly elected members will take up the positions immediately.
For the English Pharmacy Board, Thorrun Govind has been elected Board Chair, with Martin Astbury elected as Vice Chair. The EPB’s representatives to the RPS Assembly are Claire Anderson, Sibby Buckle, Tase Oputu and Alisdair Jones.
For the Welsh Pharmacy Board, Cheryl Way has been elected as Board Chair, with Ruth Mitchell elected as both Vice Chair and the representative to the Assembly. Seconded on to the board in the hospital pharmacy position is Geraldine McCaffrey.
For the Scottish Pharmacy Board, Andrew Carruthers has been elected as Board Chair, and Kathleen Cowle will become both Vice Chair and the representative to the Assembly.
Chairs of all three Boards and the EPB Vice-Chair will also sit on Assembly.
