It was with great sadness that RPS learned Professor Peter Kopelman has passed away.
As well as being a strong advocate for high quality health education, Peter worked with RPS for many years, offering support and insight.
Peter Kopelman supported the introduction of Faculty and chaired the Faculty Board, which went on to become the Faculty and Education Board, and more recently the Education and Standards Committee.
He was also the chair of the Pharmacy Education and Governance Oversight Board (EGOB).
RPS President Claire Anderson said: “His support for the RPS and the wider pharmacy profession over many years has helped to shape our work in post-registration pharmacy education which has benefitted many practising pharmacists.
“We will always remember him, and he will be missed by many.”
RPS sends its best wishes and condolences to Peter’s family.
