RPS England Board meeting - October update

RPS England Board Chair Claire Anderson comments on the highlights of the October meeting:

“The Board reflected on the huge contribution from pharmacists to support patient care during the challenge of COVID-19. We’re committed to supporting members and the profession throughout the pandemic and the coming winter.

“The wellbeing of pharmacists and pharmacy teams will continue to be a key focus in the coming months. Our second annual survey on wellbeing closes on Monday and I’d encourage people to respond.

“We heard about the ongoing work from our Education team to help pharmacists develop their skills, including through our free training on the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service.

“We discussed the next steps for the RPS Inclusion and Diversity Strategy and the recent Action in Belonging, Culture and Diversity meeting. We’re already looking ahead to next year’s English Pharmacy Board elections and how we can encourage people to stand from across the membership.”
