Sense about Science is holding a Standing up for Science workshop at the University of Manchester on Friday 13 April. This free full day event is for all STEM and social science early career researchers (PhDs, post-docs or equivalent), trainees, and medical professionals.
The workshop will combine discussions around misrepresentation of science in the media, how evidence influences policy, how researchers can involve the public in communicating research and give practical tips and advice on how early career researchers can start standing up for science.
